Learning the basics of pregnancy and motherhood is necessary in order to understand different asanas and therapies. You will be learning all about:
- Physiological processes women go through during their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum
- Being aware about the bodily changes for women from the start of their pregnancy to recovery.

- Exploring and reading the hormonal shifts as well as their impact on a woman’s mood, behavior, and emotional needs.

As this is an advanced yoga teacher training program, it is recommended to have a prior teaching experience or learning about yoga.
At India Yogashala, we teach you everything about safe and supported yoga asanas. The students are told to provide their clear prescription from their healthcare provider before starting the yogic journey.
You just need a yoga mat, chair, bolster, two blocks, strap and a blanket in your online sessions of prenatal and postnatal yoga.
It is not important to be a parent to join this program. All that matters in the curiosity, passion, and eagerness to understand the different stages of women’s pregnancy journey.
