Meet The Teacher

Dr (HC) Balasundar Srinatha

Dr. Balasundara Srinatha is a lifelong yogi who started this soulful journey at the age of 12. He has dedicated over 30 years of his life in practicing, teaching, as well as preserving the essence and authenticity of traditional yoga. He holds rich expertise in Ashtanga yoga, Iyengar yoga and Hatha Yoga. He was directly guided by the legends BKS Iyengar and Sri Gopalajeeyar. His approach to ashtanga yoga practices combines discipline of culture as well as the curiosity of modern science. This makes his teaching more grounded and practical for today’s generation of yoga practitioners.

Dr. Srinatha is a Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalist at state, national and international championships for yoga. Other than competing, he also served as a respected judge in several yoga competitions since 1993. His philosophies and understanding about yoga is what sets him apart from others. He continues to spread this knowledge through his researches that connect the ancient wisdom to the modern techniques in yoga. Just the presence of Dr. Balasundara Srinatha is enough to ensure that every student is receiving inspiration with technical guidance of yoga, on and off the mat.
