Week Schedule

Week 1

Brace yourself for a spell-binding journey of the body and spirit. We begin with honoring the traditional & the most ancient form of Yoga, the Hatha Yoga. Gain soulful insights into the science where the mind and body reach the stateness of stability & utter oneness.

We move towards the dynamic form of yoga, the Ashtanga Vinayasa Yoga. Learn & practice the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series as per the 5000-year-old history of the art form. The week is dedicated to building a strong foundation of the Hatha Yoga and Ashtaga Yoga forms.

Get introduced to the limbs of yoga, the Yoga Sutras to lay the foundation of transformation into a Yoga teacher. Connect with the inner-self through purification of the body and yogic philosophy.

Week 2

Enter the phase of becoming a Yoga Teacher and attain the state of sthira-sukham asanam. As we immerse further in the science of Ashtanga Yoga, you will gradually move to a place where your postures, its movement and the awareness of breath find their perfect rhythm.

The Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga classes are combined with lessons on Yogic anatomy for an in-depth understanding of the internal and the external mechanism of the body and to ensure that you perform each posture without sustaining any injuries.

The Yogic Philosophy in this week will take you through the study of Sankya Yoga and the Vedant Philosophy while we continue to explore the Yoga Sutras. The yogic philosophy is taught from the traditional Yoga Sutras of Patanjali in which we discuss the eight limbs of Yoga that include the yamas (what not to do) and niyamas(what to do), asanas (physical practice), pranayama (breathing exercises), pratyahara (withdrawal), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (union with God).

Week 3

As you shall complete the purification of the energy channels (a.ka. the nadi purification), a deeper practice of Pranayama or breath work will prepare you for advanced practice of Yoga in the spirit and body.

You will explore Taratak, Ajanta Japa, and Chidakash Dharana during the meditation classes which will help you establish a connection with the spirit and put you on the path of spiritual awakening.

We would move into the advanced asana practices of Hatha Yoga & Ashtanga Yoga art forms and you will become stronger and more flexible in your asanas while being able to perform meditation with ease.
